As the echoes of the shofar fade and the gates of reflection gently close, I want to take a moment, with a heart full of gratitude, to thank you for being part of our High Holy Day journey together.
Your presence, your prayers, your quiet moments of introspection, and your open-hearted engagement made our time together not just meaningful, but sacred. In a season that calls us to listen—to ourselves, to one another, and to G-d, Kol D’mamah Dakkah—the still, small voice—was present in our shared silence, our whispered prayers, and the quiet strength of community.
Each of you answered the call of these Days with your own Hineini—"Here I am." You showed up with intention, vulnerability, and spirit. You made space for each other, and in doing so, made room for transformation and renewal.
Our experience was further enriched by the powerful words of our speaker, Susan Covitz, from Families First, whose presence reminded us of the deep importance of compassion and justice in action. I invite you to learn more about their vital work at www.families-first.org/our-programs/
Thank you for entrusting me to guide part of your spiritual journey during these Holiest of Days. May the year ahead bring good health, meaningful moments of presence and purpose, and a renewed commitment to healing — all grounded in peace, compassion, inclusivity, and repair.
בְּשָׁלוֹם וּבְרָכָה B’Shalom uV’Racha— With Peace and Blessing,
Jodi
